Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Cyber Security Engineer located in Dallas, TX, with opportunities for remote work flexibility. The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing robust cybersecurity strategies, performing vulnerability assessments, enhancing application security, and securing network infrastructure. Additional responsibilities include monitoring and mitigating information security risks and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with Application Security and identifying security vulnerabilities in software applications
• Proficiency in Cybersecurity practices and proactive threat identification
• Strong knowledge of Network Security protocols and practices to protect infrastructure
• Skills in conducting Information Security audits and compliance management
• Expertise in Vulnerability Assessment tools and applying mitigation strategies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR is a plus
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or CISM) are beneficial
